Who's your early season favorites?

Alright, let's get the fun started..... Who's your early favorite individuals or teams in any conference?
NS, Calc, Math, Sci.?

I'm not familiar enough with 4A, 5A, and 1A to be able to even guess.

In 3A, Strelke from Argyle will be good in all events, but I'm not sure about his team. Hirschi still has Shri, but lost alot of seniors. La Feria still has a few people in science, and Whitney moved down to 2A. New Boston is also back down to 2A. Counts, from Central High School, will more than likely get top Physics at state again.

In 2A, New Boston is going to do very well in math and science, returning 3 people from our 1st place state 3A team in math. We are going to be young in science, but they still have two people from last years team. Pewitt has that one guy who is good at science, and Whiteoak has Jeremy Cook, who is generally good, but especially good at science (250 something at state last spring). I don't know if North Hills Irving has any people left, but they were good last year in science. Caddo Mills (math) will be okay as well, i think. I think all of Whitney's people are gone by now, but I don't know.

I'm also only familiar with 3A but mostly science. I think for 3A Science it will definitely be La Feria. We are returning our first and third person and we are finally learning physics so our scores should go up quite a bit by district. We are just looking for our remaining two guys for the team and we are set. I know that at the state level it got alot less competitive but there is still Hirschi and Argyle.

3A: Hirschi Vs. Argyle for Math, Hirschi will take Number Sense (3 of our top 5 returning, all can get to 80), Comp Sci...it is 3A come on now, Calculator- I think Wiley has a good shot, Argyle the best, Hirschi should put up a fight if we get a 3rd, and I should do better this year. Science, not sure, Hirschi might have a shot at doing something, though Argyle and Le Feria are beast.

Individuals:
Math: It is me vs. Strelke, at least at this point
NS: I think it is Hirschi's top 3 and Strelke who will fight it our in this category again
Science: not sure, Le Feria's kids, Strelke, Brian Gregg from my school, and me all have decent shots, most likely Argyle/Le Feria though
Calculator: Strelke is the hands down beast in this category, I'd be surprised to see him get trumped, though I and I know the Wylie kids will try
