So, anyone here going to the TMEA convention at San Antonio?

Ah, sorry, didn't specify there.
All-State Band, TMEA stands for Texas Music Educators Association, the convention is of music businesses, colleges ect. and it's together with the Band state competition and afterwards a concert.

I quit Band after going to high school. Band would take too much time for me. I used to play clarinet and was the best in the school, 7th-8th grade.

My mom is going to TMEA because she's a band director, and my brother and 2 of my friends were really close to making it for bassoon, oboe, and trombone.They all came close at area, but Region 28 took almost every spot.
