Sum of the first n terms in a Fibonacci sequence is [unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula], where [unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula] is the nth term of the given sequence, and [unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula] is the nth true Fibonacci number (1,1,2,3,5,8,13,...) which 1,1,2 being [unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula]. 0 is [unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula].

Therefore, your sum is [unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula].

How bout this: take your last term times two, add second-to-last term and subtract second term.

Works for most, if not all, Fibonacci addition problems on first three columns.

I feel as if an easier method to do sum of first 9 or 10 fibonacci like sequences is (7th term) * 11 for first 10 or (6th term)*11 - (zeroth term) for first 9.

For example: 4+5+9+14+23+37+60+97+157+254
Sum of first 10: 60*11=660
Sum of first 9: 37*11-(5-4)= 406

EDIT: Sum of first 11: 97*11+4= 1071

Is everyone ready?
I'm going to save tomorrow for Science and Calculator, while today is NS/Math.
I broke my Zetamac record, with a 94, so my speed should be going up.
I've taken 3 NS tests, and they felt like the hardest NS tests of my life (at least the last 2), '05 TMSCA State, '05 Region, and '04 (included in '04-'05 year?) State.
382 on TMSCA State (if only I could get that in competition...), 350 out of max 395 (1 problem omitted) on Region, 328 on State.
Those tests were HARD.

I'll take a couple Math tests as well, then pack up and make sure I have everything I need.

No, I haven't. I'm not sure if I should take them, because that might hurt my self-esteem before TMSCA State. However, if they are hard, they might be good warm-ups. I'll go ahead and print them, and I'll probably take them and post once I get back from San Antonio.

DentonKnight, I took the 02-03 tests (well, five of them). I didn't feel they were THAT hard, but I did horribly, worst tests in months.
TMSCA State - 269 (worst test since Legacy)
District 1 - 256 (worst test since probably 2011)
District 2 - 229 (The last time I missed 19... I don't think I've ever missed 19. Worst test since probably early this school year)
Region - 310 (normally a bad score, but I guess good for this year)
State - 328 (how these scores are possible... I have no idea. I just know that Region and State were warm-ups for me in the morning, and I was running on four hours of sleep, which shouldn't have helped. Strange... then I got a 274 on a not-too-hard TMSCA State test in competition.)
