District Results

Looks like some districts have started posting results. I think the #1 score in the state for NS is currently a 151. Once you guys have taken the District 1, feel free to post your results here.

Thanks! Close enough, i made it in 5 events, 4 on my own. Not ns, i'm horrible at it because my team is also bad, but the good thing is that the other schools in my district are a little worse. lol Plus, region is pretty much a given at my district, that's why i'm not worrying about events other than math and calculator anymore, because they're the only ones that there's a "maybe" shot at placing top 3. Math is still very doubtful, but maybe if i continue practicing. I"m kinda shy of my scores compared to other people's in this forum, so I won't post them lol, the only one i'm kinda okay with is the calculator one.

Steven Xu (4A state NS champ for the past 2 years) got a 242 in NS (Current top score in the state). I'm scared of this test. Normally he does much better. Luckily I take the District 2, but that will probably be worse.

Interesting... I should be able to beat a 242. No doubt that Bobby Shen will hold the top score, and hopefully I can be one of the top scores, enough to do well at State. This Saturday is the big day! Oh, I'm doubting I'll make it in CS, and Science will be tough, since I can only advance through top Biology, but I have a small shot at it.

Well, the only studying I'm gonna get is afterschool today, afterschool tommorrow, then it's all in on saturday, so to speak, in texas hold'em sense. I really wanna make it to regionals, 'cause I heard they would be paying our airfare. Flying sounds fun.

I think I might have the new top ns score with a 289. It was my best test in a while considering how hard it was.
Can't wait to hear how some of the top scorers do on saturday

Can I ask what District/conference/region you are in?
I hope I can beat my Invitational scores, but I can never get above an average of 280 (251-283-269-319-274) or so, much less 300, once on a REALLY easy test.

District 7-4A Competition has officially ended.

I placed
8th Overall in Number Sense
8th Overall in Calculator Applications
2nd Overall in Science, also getting 2nd place for Top Score in Biology (GOING TO REGIONALS!)
And finally 10th Place in Mathematics

Results should be made public on the UIL Entry System Thingy pretty soon. But I gotta tell you, I WAY underestimated the Calculator Applications test and it was a very close race in that competition. I scored my all time best in Number Sense, and I consider it a great job for only two-ish months of serious practice. I set a all time high score in Science and I was super inefficient when it came to taking the Math test. I kind of spent too much time on several problems, but I had some serious fun taking all the Math events.

As for my school overall, we had success all around UIL Academics. I don't remember exactly who placed in what [Partially because I didn't take pictures of all the results and that my brain is fried], but for the first time ever, we will be taking 3 SUV's worth of people to Regionals.
