Anybody have results for TMSCA #3? What do you guys think about the math test's difficulty?

Was the math test like TMSCA 2? It caught me by total surprise, and I got a 188, I think. It made me feel bad. :(

I just did not like the math test because I usually answer about 45-55 questions, but I only answered 29. I don't even know how I dropped that low. The first page was a killer and the test got a little bit better after that. I've taken practice state and region tests and I still think that this test was the hardest I have ever taken. Seriously! I did not score that low since January of Freshman Year.

lol, don't worry about it. I didn't take TMSCA 3, but the first page of TMSCA 2 was absolutely awful for me. I believe I answered 4 of them on my first go-around. I ended up doing 42( :( ) and missing 8.... 8!!!

So, yeah, I guess this is a new format for these. I sure hope not.

I don't think we should expect the rest of the math tests to be as hard as they apparently seem...Larry White (state contest director) writes all the District/Region/State tests, but the only TMSCA tests he writes are #6 and 13. Those should be better indicators of how the math tests are going to be this year.

The TMSCA bio. writer is way off the mark this year. It seems that a lot of questions are trivia or not in line with what UIL would ask. Who knows or even cares which birds are introduced in the Us? Who knows what specific classes of snakes include specific species? The chem. & physics seem to be good though.

Yes, I must admit that I got a 16 on the Biology portion of the test. I still got a 178 or something though, although it could be higher still.
