I'm just a freshman and pretty new to UIL so I'm asking the more experienced folks what lies ahead in this competition. Do you guys know people who are top and consistently score 300s in NS, math, calc, and sci?

If you want to know overall, the top 3 overall are Bobby Shen, Wesley Runnels, and Ross Coker.
Highland Park is 4A, so in Math, it will probably be Steven Xu, Dante Vela(not sure if he was a Senior), and John Gee on top this year.
Team-wise, you guys lost Danny Ham, so I think you will be down a little bit. Dawson, Calhoun, or Mission Veterans(fingers crossed) will probably win at State.
In Calculator, look out for the kids from Mission Veterans (3 year defending State champs), especially Juan Moreno. I think they might sweep top 4 at State (if they decide to practice!!! :P)
In Number Sense, it is pretty much open. The top 8 at State were all within 60-some odd points. This year, I say Darius Davis (me, lol),Jack Terrell, Steven Xu have the best chances of winning.
Team will most likely go to Mission Veterans.
In Science, I don't know exactly who's good, but Highland Park will most likely win team.
Wow, with all of those Mission Veterans references, I feel cocky. :P

Everybody has chances.
However, I know that the top three (Bobby, Wesley, and Ross) are unbeatable...
(unless you are an upcoming bobby shen which is highly unlikely)...

I could not believe Bobby Shen in science - isn't there Dominic who was supposed to be unbeatable?

Which good people from 4A will be there? I know 4A competition is mostly concentrated in Highland Park/Pine Tree (Longview)/Mission/Pearland.

I don't know much about 4A. Also, Ross isn't going, he has a conflict.
