Christmas Break To a Close :( But lets do a recap of it

but how did u all do? i kinda practiced.... scores kinda went up... not much though...

My school and Flower Mound are both hosting a meet the first Saturday we get back, so there will be plenty of preparation before hand. Both (I think) will be tough.



And I don't know about you guys, but I have exams to "study" for the week after next week. And I have no idea how the exam week is going to play out....

Next week should be interesting though. I have a feeling a lot of complaints from people will be said on Monday.


And I don't know if I have improved or not. I just have been doing math and science. That's about it.

Aww, man! I though there was still two more weeks!

I've neglected my studies... which basically means I'm behind in everything. And I have a project due for history, by far my worst subject. I guess I'll have to give up Assassins Creed and Math practice to get back on pace. :/

As far as UIL goes, I have hit a ceiling in Math. My last 5 tests have been a 280, 288, 282, 278, and a 282. Noticing a pattern? At least I'm improving.

In Number Sense I am consistently finishing in under 9 minutes on UIL tests, and missing less than 5.

I still don't have an HP, but with my TI-nspire and my TI-89, I got a 154(id 42, missed 8). I did not finish the comps, I just went straight through. :P

I honestly stink at Science, and unlike most people, I don't have a specialty. I basically get around a 50 in bio, 50 in Chem, and 40 in Physics. Trying to study as much as I can.

NS - Not much practice(as I expected) on my side... I got a 292 before Christmas break on one of those invitational UIL tests and then a 264 with 3 of the world's dumbest mistakes and a 283 on a TMSCA STATE test (kinda luck i believe considering that I don't get as high usually on the district tests I took)
Took some region/state tests... Man! State tests are hard. I got lie a 219 once but that was it! Then I went back to those old, dark 180s...
Not been getting to those 80s YET for NS, but now getting about the same speed I had last year or probably a little more from the 55s to the 65s but I could see great improvement in accuracy!

Math - like pokemonmaster - me too - a ceiling... I got like around 270 to 280... I took a few district/TMSCA STATE tests but they varied in scores: all broke 200, many below 250 though :(

Calculator - Big improvement I could see... From like the bottom 170s to the high 220s/230s... I am now getting perfect NCs and I found the stated - not so hard!

Sci - Absolutely no practice... For me: Bio: 50, Chem: Depends (Easy, 50 but hard, 20), Phys: (No comment... Easy, 30 but hard, 10)So in total expecting a total score of like 100 on UIL A

Have been focusing on studies for the semester exams after the FMHS meet - so I DO have ample amount of time!
As for the others - well - PSAT/SAT - was one I kinda practiced...

All your guys' studying makes me feel like I did nothing over break. I haven't taken a single practice UIL/TMSCA test yet...or done any homework...or study...on the other hand, this was quite a relaxing break :D

The Science isn't that bad... anymore...

Now that I decided to finally take AP Biology (which I hate by the way), I have been getting an average of 50 on Bio (compared to the 20 before :D), 112 on the Chemistry (usually miss one from some stupid mistake, and it's been awhile since I did AP Chem), and an average of 70 on physics (will go up once I teach myself Electricity and optics before I get to it in my AP physics class). So much improvement from last year! :D

Math, same as you guys, unless I focus more and become more accurate. I hit 270s and 280s on every math test I took this break (which was like 5), except one, which I got a 312 on (so happy!).

You guys are killing me on NS... I can barely reach the 200s, although now I am hitting the 200 - 230 range often now. Probably won't last very long.

Only took one calculator test this break, and it was a 223 I think. I need to get back on it... eventually.



I have three projects I should be doing right now, with two of them due next week, but I think I'll play some Kingdom Hearts or some other games a little longer, maybe watch some animes that a friend reffered me to. :D


This break was a somewhat productive, but mostly relaxed.
