Are we allowed rulers on the calculator and/or general math tests? Just wonderin'.

Um. All I see is info about calculators. But if we are allowed to use them, they'll come in handy, at least for me. Thanks!

The one thing I am confused about, is why would you need a ruler? Unless I am reading that wrong.

The only thing I could see a ruler being used for is measuring lengths of the geometry problems, aside from a few stated problems here and there. It's unnecessary, and the shapes likely aren't exactly to scale either.

Well, I'm just wonderin' if you could use one. Never hurts to have extra things. Could come in handy. I usually use them to draw diagrams and such for word problems.

That is true. Although it wouldn't hurt to ask the coaches or e-mail the contest directors, I don't think we would be allowed to bring a ruler.
It would be a bit useful to use it, but not too often as it wastes time sometimes.
