Does anyone here know how to play chess? And if so, are you at least moderately decent and familiar with different strategies and such? I used to be really interested, and I've gotten into it again lately. Just curious.

I play chess once in a while. I could never quite come up with any good strategies, though. I am like, decent, but that's about it.

I used to play chess but now - it became boring. Part of the reason being that I have no one to play with. The other is even if I find someone, that person is way better than I am - with like those rating pts - like 900 pts and stuff.

I play # sometimes, at chess.com. I don't know anyone in person who is good at chess, so playing on there is good. I find chess pretty interesting. If anyone wants to play me, sign up and I'll start a game with you. I'm probably rated around 1600-1700 regularly, maybe a bit higher in blitz.
