Don't know the purpose of the thread really. What do you hope to score? What do you think you'll make? (Individual, Team)

District:
Number Sense: 250 (probably 170-220) 1st
Team: 450 (probably 320-350) 1st
Calculator: 248 (probably 206-227) 1st
Team: 570 (probably 530-540) 1st
Math: 270 (probably 210-240) 1st
Team: 550 (probably 500-530) 1st
Science: 150 (probably 70-100) 2nd
Team: 350 (probably 300-320) 1st
Computer Science (I think I'm taking it): 120 (probably 60-80, first time to take the comp sci test) no idea about place
Team: If I'm taking the test, I think I'm the only one from my school.

Most of my predicted scores are practice scores, something kicks in at meets that makes me go slower and make more silly mistakes. Nervousness? =P

I'm a freshman, so in science i'm not on the varsity team. The team place projected is the varsity team's. My goals are a little high, especially since in NS I've never actually broken 300 in a meet (though in all fairness, I haven't been to a meet in about 2 months), and in math I usually make 200-250 in meets.

NS: don't take, but I think West Brook will be 2nd or 3rd
CA: don't take, but West Brook will be 4th or 5th
MA: lol, hopefully above a 200...but probably around 160; West Brook will hopefully be within the top 3 teams
SC: feelin a little optimistic...310ish, but probably around 260ish because of stupid mistakes: And hopefully West Brook can pull off 1st place.
CS: I have no clue, no one from west brook competes

REGIONALS

SC: if i make it...hopefully above a 280? Kenneth Hu = pwnage, If west brook makes it, we will be around 6th or 7th place

Oh, Jack Huang, yeah i have seen you around. I'm surprised to see how you all first year competitors have been doing so good this year. I believe you have been in UIL for only this semester and I think being in the 200s this quick is pretty good.

Calc: 130-160, don't know don't care (Team 1st or 2nd)
Math: 150-180, 3rd (Team 2nd)
Science: 150+, 2nd (Team 1st)

And for CS we don't even have a team, just one kid who is aiming to get like four problems right. Woot.

Regionals

NS: Enough to advance to state, 180+ (Team 1st?) (got 7th last year with a 129)
Math: maybe snag 6th or so place with a 180 or so (got 9th last year with a 148 =\)
Calc: Don't know, don't care
Science: 150+, 3rd behind Daniel Willis and James Cheesman (Team 1st, with Wimberly close behind)

State

NS: as one person put, "YAY I'M HERE"

Math: Insignificant

yeah basically this semester. i went to one meet last semester but bleh.. the first scores i got dont matter... lol. well i only got so high cause of some # classes like prep and all lol. ive only had one 200 at the last tmsca at your school so that does not really say if can stay there or be better =/ but you know, hopefully ive given my self some ground for next year!

Yes, I think our district is gaining back strength. I was looking at scores from the old days and La Joya and Edinburg North(though not in our district now) were tearing it up. When I look at the scores now they are a lot lower. Hopefully people like me, Naoki, and Jack as well as some other very high scorers will raise the level of competition in our district and bring it back to the state it was in before. Though you won't be here next year Roel, I must say that it is mainly because of you that I have done well this year. I've looked up to your scores and set my goals based on them throughout the whole year. I'm sure everyone else in our district does the same. You're a very good role model. I don't think either me or Naoki or anyone else will give you much trouble at district, but if we do, it will just be because of luck. See you on friday.
