You will draft 6 people (If interest is high I will add more people to the list. Also, you can nominate anyone you want to the list, as long as you post their stats for all 4 subjects [zeros if not applicable]).

A few days before region, you will select who you will be using. You get one guy for number sense, one guy for math, one guy for calculator, one guy for Science, and one utility guy (this means that all 4 subjects are added for him). The sixth is pretty much a sub, in case someone doesn't make it to state (You can sub him in even if everyone makes it to state).
Each person will be scaled to 100, but the utility guy will be scaled to 150. This means that you are playing for 550 points at each contest, for 1100 total. (Science will be multiplied by 5/18, Number sense by 1/4, math by 5/18, calculator by 2/7, utility by 5/49)

Names in the spreadsheet that are italicizes means the player is in 4a, in case you need this to analyze.

A draft order will be randomly decided, and the draft will probably work like this: you submit a list of the players ranked as you want them. When your turn comes in a round, you will get the player at the top of your list who has not already been taken. If we all have google accounts, we will probably do this draft real time.

As everyone has a google account, and all PMs have been picked up, the draft will be 8 PM central tomorrow. Hopefully it will take no more than an hour.

The league is over for 2008. Results are on pages 2 and 3.

First, wow. We need some corporate sponsors to go along with this league and some major payoff for the winners (of the fantasy league players, not draftees. The draftees will get their large pieces of chocolate wrapped in gold, silver, and bronze foil while at Regionals.).

Second, Brad P. earned a 308 (not 208) in science...you just moved up in the draft, Brad. Demand a larger signing bonus.

Ooh, hooray for me. However, EDIT: I can't disclose that info, that would make people unnaturally choose/not choose me.

How are you selecting who's on the draft?? Is it everyone with 200+ on at least 1 test? I know several people that have higher UIL fantasy points that are going to Region.

Ex: Derik Olsson, Flower Mound
NS: 146 (going to region)
CA: 213 (going to region)
MA: though he didn't take it officially, it was the same day right after the test, and it beat our 4th place person (who scored 154), so he's on the team for Region.

Derik's fantasy points: over 140

Not sure if I can count the math score, esp since you don't have the exact number. Edit: On second thought, I'll put in 154 if you don't have his score.
Anyway, in general I picked the top 15-20 from each test. As I said, I'll add anyone suggested.

Because I was a bit short on players, I have added some 4Aers. Their names are in italics (for example, Andrew Acker on row 18). The total number of players is now 50. I will cap signups with the next person who joins (if anyone), and we will discuss the draft tomorrow. If we do a real-time draft, it will probably occur on Wednesday.
