We should be able to get 7 signups, and the setup will be as so:
2 Mafia members- These two can talk during night phase, and they may kill (they can choose not to, but that's usually stupid) up to one person every night.
0 to 1 inspector- At night, he chooses to inspect one player, and gets a result of scum or not scum (scum = mafia)
0 to 1 doctor- At night, he chooses to protect one player, and if that player is targetted by the mafia, he will not die that night.
3 to 5 citizens: Have no night action, but may vote and unvote in the day as much as anyone else.
So (You should be able to figure this out, but w/e), I will be choosing randomly between 4 setups:
-2 mafia, 0 inspector, 0 doctor, 5 citizens
-2 mafia, 1 inspector, 0 doctor, 4 citizens
-2 mafia, 0 inspector, 1 doctor, 4 citizens
-2 mafia, 1 inspector, 1 doctor, 3 citizens.
You will not know which setup I will have chosen.
Day phase will work like this:
Everyone gets 1 vote. You may place this vote on up to 1 person, or no lynch. When a single person has a majority of the votes (4/7, 4/6, 3/5, 3/4, 2/3), he is lynched (aka killed/removed from the game). I will reveal his role, and we will proceed into night phase. After all night choices are received, day will begin. I will reveal who died, and his/her role, and day will start again.
Mafia are the 'evil' side, and citizens, doctor, inspector are the 'town' side.
Mafia win when they have as many living members as the town. Town wins when all the mafia are dead.
