Just a friendly reminder...

The UIL Test writers strive to make District 1 and 2 tests as similar as possible so that the scores are comparable for the Wild Card. Any school that has knowledge of problems on one test could use that as a distinct advantage and could knock another team out with that knowledge.

Some examples of the similarites are:
NS06D1 # 70: The perimeter of the ellipse [unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula] is ___
NS06D2 # 70: The perimeter of the ellipse [unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula] is ___

NS06D1 # 72: [unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula]
NS06D2 # 72: [unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula]

NS06D1 # 50: [unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula]
NS06D2 # 60: [unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula]

MA06D1 # 48: [unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula]
MA06D2 # 34: [unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula]

These are but a few examples of the similarities that District 1 and 2 Problems have.

Since there are some districts that start with math/science competitions, it's imperative that tests are not discussed prior to March 31. Just because you might have district on Tuesday or Wednesday doesn't mean that someone else on the boards won't use that information to knock your team out on Friday or Saturday.

I have no problems about questions in general, and to be honest, I couldn't stop that if I tried. I have been asked by Dr. White in particular to emphasize the importance of not sharing information about the tests until March 31st.
