Need Help

Postby smeag » Sat Feb 04, 2012 8:20 pm

I need to get better in NS..

I usually get around 300 but at the meet, I was horrible (150)... Can someone please help me on how to prepare for numbersense?

And also look at my recent post in the calculator forum?
Eels always look like they just told a joke, and are waiting for a response.

I can get 300+ consistently, averaging maybe 340 on TMSCAs, ~280-300 on D/R/S (last time, 300+ besides State, which was a 262 or so.). I can't break that in competition though. I usually feel good about the test, then I wind up doing horribly (by my standards). You aren't the only one. Apparently, NS takes a lot of practice, a lot of experience, and nerves of steel. Until I can perform well, consistently, at the meets, I can offer you no advice. Also, what do you mean by 'extensive guide' in Calculator? The book just tells you formulas, how to do certain problems, and general information abotu the contest.
