Anyone know what's up with zetamac?

Nobody (since the "old generation" a couple of years ago) has really been too involved with it. I tried it for a while, then played yesterday for a low of 60 and a high of 67. People then would get 120s, so I am not at the top or anything. Maybe we could revive this thing?

I've played it regularly since I first found out about it a couple of months ago but haven't been able to play recently because it simply won't load on any computer or web browser I've tried...anyone else having difficulty with this?

Yes.. 80, after a couple tries. I haven't played in forever... Maybe I can get to 90 after a while, but these multiplication problems and division slow me down big time.

So...this just takes a little bit of practice, and it definitely helps a lot with the computations you do in-test. There were a good few times where I didn't actually take the most theoretically-efficient path to solving a problem; rather, I just referenced a mental dictionary of computations and then slightly varied some of the parameters for these computations to piece together answers. Having a dictionary of computations (like multiplication tables) allows you solve problems much more quickly.

I think my average time on NS tests dropped by 2.5 minutes or so after I played Zetamac for about 2 weeks - my scores raised from an initial 60 or so to 120, and after about 1.5 months I could break 160 on occasion.

I don't think I can READ 160 problems in 2 minutes.

After a few days of intense Zetamac practice, I'm up to 94! I see great improvement over the last couple of days. This hopefully will help me speed through NS tests with great accuracy!

just out of curiosity, how many questions can you miss on the SAT and still get a perfect score?

Each test and section is different. They give you your scaled score based upon not only how many you missed and got correct, but also how hard the test. I got a 2350 on my last SAT (800 writing, 800 math, 750 reading). I missed zero on math, but about two on writing. Thus implying that they considered fewer people to miss zero on writing. My cousin has made 800 on reading as well and has missed a couple
