What score should I aim for?

I am wondering what number sense score I will need to win UIL this year. I'm in 5th grade. I got 2nd place last year and want to do better but our couch this year does not do practice tests at school (I only do them at home) so I don't know what score I should be aiming for. At home I just break 200 but everyone I know (including me) did not get their best score at the actual competition. Thanks

Well...I don't know about middle school...that really depends on a lot of things.

I did middle school UIL for a few years...the most important thing is to be accurate. If you're in 5th grade with a 200, you should be fine. At state though (depending on if you're 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, or 5A), the winning scores will be up in the high 300s for 5A and the high 200s-low 300s for 1A. But you still have lots of time to get there.
