Quick Tricks part 2

The quick tricks thread was getting way too many posts. Lets start answering/posting questions here.

Alright this sounds like a good idea since the other thread has like 4 pgs.
I'll have the honor of posting first :)
How do you multiply something below 100 and a number above 100 (w/out multiplying it out of course [I already know how to do that lol]). I forgot the trick.

And something similar

and I skipped this stupid one:

Ans = 48048

Compound mult. is when you do this:
78*56
= 78*6 + 78*50
This is not very fast in my opinion and takes a long time if you dont have enough practice with it.
