When the NS test asks for asymptotes, does it include slant asymptotes (deg > 1)? I took a test and it did not count a quadratic slant asymptote, but I could have sworn that slant asymptotes were counted before. I hope the trend is consistent not counting them.
Also, does anyone consistently have handwriting mistakes? I'm afraid that my handwriting will cost me this year.

They only count linear asymptotes, whether horizontal or vertical or oblique, mainly because you can't really tell polynominal asymptotes just from looking at the equations. Plus, this is the number sense test so I highly doubt that something like that would be tested.
Now, if there was a way to tell polynominal asymptotes from just looking at the equation, I'd be quite intrested to hear how.
