68. The number of distinct triangles that can be drawn from a single vertex of a pentagon is?
48. The number of triangles in a hexagon is? (Not sure what the problem is asking really, got a bit confused on the wording of it)

Okay, so is the number of polygons in a triangle just equal to the number of sides, or is there a formula?

6 is not correct. Any 3 non colinear points form a triangle, so the answer is 6 C 3 = 20.

68: this is similar to 48. 1 point is fixed, so we need to choose 2 more. There are 4 remaining vertices, so our answer is 4 C 2 = 6
