Harmonic Mean

Okay, so I know how to find the harmonic mean of two numbers, but I don't know how if there is three or more. For example, #67 on the 2011 State Test: (67) The harmonic mean of 1,3, and 6 is ______________ Thanks!

In general, the harmonic mean is the number of terms divided by the sum of the reciprocals of the terms. In your example, it's. 3 / (1/1 + 1/3 + 1/6) = 2.
