Everyone, I was wondering...I know the region numbersense test is gonna be really hard but when we say "hard" does that mean that the tricks used will be the same but using bigger numbers or does it mean more complex solutions? What does it mean?

don't worry... i started NS half way through last year(05-06 #6 is the first ns test i ever took... i will remember it forever!) (sophomore last year) and i was able to finish tests around the time of the state meet (didn't make it to the state meet though cuz i missed so many at regional meet

yeah starting in middle school helps especially because we basically dont practice anymore and can manage to do decent

no practicing is cool...we just dont =P and mr boyd is like 3 practices a week 2 hours a piece and then practice in school for about an hour a day for 5 days a week...lots of practice right there we basically manage to get near perfects in every category(excluding science) by 7th grade then we go to high school and go to one or two competitions without practicing and show up to tmsca state because i guess UIL isnt as important as other things?

O. Lol. I did #sense in middle school. I remember i got 5th at TMSCA state my sixth grade year, but then i stopped practicing cuz in seventh grade we were allowed to play football and basketball. Plus i was in band/orchestra. And i had to maintain my "good grades". I started getting serious about numbersense when i made a 191 at UIL B this year. I then knew that i had the capability to break 200. So that is my goal. (although it didn't happen at district) lol. I'm ready for regionals in a way. Just give me two blue pens, a timer, and an energy drink. That will do the job.

amazingly mark cant practice that much math since he apparenlty has 3-6 hours of hw everyday(what a studious young boy) and he plays ddr in his spare time =P

I can't concentrate on work for more than 10 minutes...even then number sense is so bad. Calculus homework= boring. Anyone else never study for calculus tests with everyone getting made at you for making hundreds?
