#27 from TMSCA State 07 : What is the roaming area of a dog on a 30ft leash if it is tied to a fence with a 6ft opening 20ft away?

I have also seen another question similar to this for example:
What is the romaing area of a dog on a 30 foot leash tied to the corner of a 10ft x 15ft building?

Also #49 from TMSCA State : Find the total volume of 2 cones stacked, given the total height (4.73) and the radius (.82)?

is a half circle that represents the roaming area of the dog on the left side of the fence.

Since the dog is 20 ft away from the opening and his leash is 30 ft long. When he reaches the opening, he has 10 ft left in his chain, therefore

is a half circle that represents the roaming area of the dog on the right side of the fence.

Add them together gets you 1570

for building im guess the same thing, except 2 openings instead of one ?

If a cone is inscribed in a cylinder, the volume 1/3, so the volume of the two cones together would also be 1/3 the volume of the smallest cylinder containing the cones.

And, if you have a building, you have to watch out for quarter circles. A building is like 4 fences, not 1.
