It still says by weight though. If it was done by volume it would have to say whether the 4 ft by 8 ft by .75 in was before or after drying.

The by weight solution is shorter too. That makes it better.

I didn't even notice that - you're right. And looking at my test now (I was just glancing at the PDF), I see that I did it by weight on the test...and missed it, lol. The answer key should have been changed on that problem.

I guess I can now see how they got their answer though...simply a difference of volume versus weight.

Ugh... I put 150 on the test and they counted it wrong. The sponsors never check the tests in my division...
