This is my first post in calculator. OK I used think calculator was a joke, but I am rethinking my assumption after I got a 154 today!!!!!!
How do you do these(HDYDT):
A 2x6-10 is a 10ft long wooden plank with cross sectional dimensions of 2in. and 6 in. before finishing. The finishing operation removes 3/16 in from the sides but not the ends. What is the percent decrease in volume?
(rad) Solve for t nearest to zero if 18t^2sin(3t) = 6t+2. I did this problem correctly, but I had to graph it and find the zeroes. Any faster way?
What should my approach be on tests(1.Finish all numerical prob and come back to stated and geom probs or 2.Go with the flow and do everything in order). #2 got me a 154 while #1 got me a 45.
What do they mean by take off 2 points for SD probs. Do I take off 2 points instead of 7?
Sorry for the trivial questions, but I am only a beginner.
Thx in advance
