A Question - pretty straight-forward - but not quite

I was doing a test - I think 9A and on that solver question - #48 - and when I plugged it into my ti, I was surprised by the 2 answers that were given by the calculator.
I was very surprised I should say b/c i mean this is one of the very few calculator tests I have taken. I got an answer that said -4.9999something and -3.0blablabla.
IT asked for a negative value but I had two of them.
In those cases, how do I pick my answers?
Please tell me how I should score this question...

There are times where multiple answers do show up. I would say that they might be implying that the answer is within the domain [unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula] for cosine functions. Since -3.04 is within the domain while -5.00 is not, I can see what that is technically the correct answer. Both are technically correct though.

That was a mistake by the test writer on problem 09A-48. There is supposed to be only one correct answer for each problem on the calculator test. For this problem, hopefully the graders on that day found the mistake and gave credit for either -5.00 or -3.04.

Both answers are right. Like Calcguy said, there can only be one answer per question, but there are times where technically, there are two answers. Most of the time that happens though, there is usually a twist to knock an answer out so only one remains. I'd count either of the negative answers right in this case.
