Variables in matrices

I can do anything, as long as I have my handy-dandy Calculator.

Variables in matrices

Is there a way to put variables in matrices inside the calculator (TI-84) for the matrix problems on the test or are you supposed to solve it by hand?

As far as I know, only the TI-89 (and I think nSpire) has this functionality.

Typically, it is much faster to do that stuff by hand, and only use the calculator for basic math operations (those that can't easily be done quickly by the mind, depending on your mental math capabilities).

But yeah, Ti-89 has the functionality for it.
Now I know the stakes, and I'm willing to show what I gots. I will see you all at state for the first and final time, so let's end the year with a bang! :)
