Whoops! Typed the derivative wrong onto my calculator...
For 59, I read z-axis as x-axis so I thought the problem was simple as [unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula]. I still don't get how to do it though.

The x-z plane is the plane coming in and out of the page that is parallel with the x-axis on the page.
