Donny starts typing a manuscript using "hunt and peck" typing at 29 words per min (wpm) after 2 hours and 10 minutes, Donna, who types 95 wpm, joins him. Together they finish in 2hrs and 45 minutes. What percent of the manuscript did Donna type?
Answer: 64.7 %

This is a rates problem.
First find[unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula] (time Donny) which is the time Donny types alone. This is: [unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula]
[unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula] (time from when Donna joins to the end) this is [unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula]
The total words typed is(BTW I ignored units for convenience. If you are confused about what to multiply then just look at the units):

The words typed up by Donna is [unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula]
Percent = [unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula]
