I've noticed that on almost all (if not all) of the 09-10 tests have had at least one question dealing with hyperbolas, asking such things as eccentricity and foci of the graph given. I'm not exactly familiar with them, and so I don't know, and can't even find #, the formulas for such things.
I know the general form of a hyperbola is x^2/a^2-y^2/b^2=1.
So if you can post the formulas for the foci or eccentricity, or anything else that you may find necessary that may come up on a later test, that would be great. Thanks.

I see the formula for transverse and conjugate axes and the focal length. I don't see eccentricity or focus on there. Am I missing something?
