Questions:

46, 47. I think I can do the rest. I skipped another one, the directrix one, but I'm pretty sure I just did my Math wrong somewhere. I wanted to move on, so I just skipped.
I plugged a determinant wrong into my calculator, along with a couple other dumb mistakes.

alrighty number 46 since we are given 30degrees and 110 degrees remember that an inscribe angle = .5 of the arc angle thus knowing the lines are supplementary 110 goes to 70 and a triangle has 180 degrees thus 30+70+80=180 so 80*2=160

47) yeah that one is dumb how can you know with the info given to you without knowing the persentage of how many students in total wears sneakers

On 46, I thought that 30 + 70 + 100 = 180, instead of 80.
That's why I thought it was 200, instead. Thanks for pointing that out.
And is 47 just a bad question?

I guess so because how would you know how many girls have sneakers it just said some

I would infer that because "some of the girls wear flip-flops and some girls wear sneakers", an additional 20% wear sneakers. Just take the 20% over the 80% total who wear sneakers, and you should get the answer.Is the answer 25%?

Yes, but I don't see why they would make you infer such things... 30% sneakers vs 70% flip-flops is valid, given their wording. I was going to put 25%, which is the correct answer, but I didn't want to take the risk. Wasted valuable time on this question!

About #47: Where does it say "some"? My test says half of the girls where flip flops and half wear sneakers...

EDIT: So it seems like the test on TexasMath is an older version or something. Mine says what I quoted above...

Maybe it was a typo problem, and then they printed the new ones with corrections to sell out to the schools. That's why the one on the forum might say "some", and then the test you have says "half".

I think Fabens is right. On the test corrections page on the UIL website, I vaguely remember Mr. White discussing this question. I do think he intended it to read "half."

I noticed that Adeesh and Aditya both went to State, were in different grade levels, but I didn't notice that you guys went to different schools. I thought you guys were siblings, but is the last name just a coincidence?

Assuming you are talking about UIL State:

We are not related, but I can tell you that I practice the religion of Jainism and an guessing that Aditya does too. Many Jains have their last name "Jain" (but not all) and it leads to confusion sometimes :P

Your question confuzzled me for a bit since there is an Aditya at my school and a mini-Aditya who is in 8th grade but can already score 300s on HS NS and 250s on the HS mathematics tests (genius) coming to our school next year.

Oh, ok, that makes sense. I've never seen the names Adeesh or Aditya (similar, and some parents like to name their kids similarly), nor the last name Jain, so I didn't really know the connection with Jainism, although it makes sense. What did not make sense is how siblings would go to schools in Flower Mound and Houston, so I thought that maybe it was just a coincidence.
Haha, we might see some competition between the junior and freshman Aditya next year, to see who is the better one. That might be interesting for the both of them.
It's really a huge advantage to do UIL and TMSCA in middle school. I didn't know anything about them until last year, so I have a lot of catching up to do. Mini-Aditya looks like trouble, REAL trouble.
