Alright, I think I can help, but I don't guarantee it bring correct. If you could check with the answer key, that'd be great.
You can pick 8C6 combinations for getting 6 heads, out of [unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula] total combinations (since there are 8 flips, do [unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula]). You can see this in the binomial expansion.
Now, multiply 8C6 = 28 by [unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula], since you have to get heads six times and tails once. I think that's a valid solution.
