Directed Reading - Beyond Einstein

Postby Jeremy2012x » Fri Mar 02, 2012 6:04 pm

In preparation for district, I was thinking that maybe we could quiz each other on Chapters 5 and 6 (for District 1)
http://www.uiltexas.org/files/academics ... 011-12.pdf

Also, only these two chapters will be tested on the District 1 test, correct? It's not 1-6?

I read the book, and I let someone borrow it. I told him to bring it back before Spring Break, so I can re-read it before TMSCA State. I really need that book!

Good questions, I had to check double-check myself on several of them! I've already read the book, so my study plan is to focus on Chapter 5 until Tuesday (at which point I go to Disney with the band lol) and to study Chapter 6 the week leading up to District.

Here are a few other questions for chapter 5:

Which of these particles was discovered in 1977 at the Fermi National Laboratory?
A. Down
B. Bottom
C. Strange
D. Charm
E. Up

Each quark comes in how many different "colors"?
A. 2
B. 3
C. 6
D. 18
E. 4

How many total quarks are there?
A. 6

C. 18
D. 36
E. 24

Leptons interact by exchanging what types of particles?
A. W and Z particles
B. Gluons
C. Gauge bosons
D. Photons
E. Neutrinos
