So...in effort to revive this forum, I shall ask three questions from the three subjects.
Biology) During which stage of mitosis do nucleoli reappear?
a. telophase
b. anaphase
c. early prophase
d. late prophase
e. metaphase
Chemistry) Given that 1+1=2, how many carbon atoms are there in Poly(3-hexylthiophene-2,5-diyl)?
Physics) Find the mass of our universe.

Ok I like this idea. How do you do(or what is the reasoning to) number 50 invitational A 2012.

I was just thinking to start up the Science portion. I really need to work on Science this year, especially on physics. I also need to keep up with my biology... last year, I got a 112 at District and 104 or so at Region. The first competition this year, I got a 16 (sixteen). Now that was a really bad test in any case, but I also missed #1 in biology (and chemistry) at Invitational A this year. I need to be a bit more careful.

Don't pick on him man. People make mistakes from time to time. For we know, the first question in each section has the potential to be the hardest one (although unlikely).
...And I would definitely not mind missing number one in physics, but I cannot forgive myself if I miss number one in Chemistry at all, hehe.

You can take physics whatever year you want really, as long as you are prepared for it. Most of the time, precalculus knowledge is necessary to take physics so most cannot take it until later. Usually, its the junior year one takes Pre-AP Physics [at least in the public system]. I've seen many people who have taken physics in their freshman years (Ross Coker for example) and excel at it then.
