Well, I like to participate, though I haven't had time lately...curses...but I should be there Saturday.
The3point14 (same name on TopCoder) is Joshua Lambert from Nederland High School, he participates on occasion. peterliang (peterLiang on TopCoder) is Peter Liang (what a creative name =) ) from Cinco Ranch High School. MichaelGummelt (Michael Gummelt, Midlothian High School) used to participate under the TopCoder name Penguincode, though he's graduated and off to Stanford now. I'm not sure of any others...?

Hm...I wonder how the TopCoder High School Tournament will play out this year if I or any other active UIL members try to compete in it...judging by the dates which have been released, it looks like TCHS # Round 1 will conflict with UIL A, TCHS # Round 2 will conflict with TMSCA#7, TCHS # Round 3 will conflict with TMSCA#8, and the TCHS Tournament Onsite Finals will conflict with TMSCA State. Harsh...of course, I hardly have a chance of making the Finals anyway, so it's not likely to be problematic, but that's a pretty nasty series of conflicts, at any rate.

I won't make the # round 1, so its not a problem for me :) haha.
And I definately would not give up TMSCA state for a beating at the onsite finals.

Haha, I would jump at the opportunity to be destroyed at the finals, if only I had a chance of getting there--I mean, a quick glance at the TCHS leaderboard shows no less than three IOI gold medalists (ahyangyi, Zuza, Zhomart), and that's just based off of people who use their real name for their username...there must be more...I think there is nothing more exciting than being completely and hopelessly crushed by such great minds. =)

Haha, true. I guess I should qualify my statement a bit, as these people from IOI are amazing specifically in the fields of competition which interest me most. =) I didn't mean to say that TMSCA/UIL competitors weren't good, or anything like that.
