Who got what?

The following is a list of the top four competitors (all earned perfect scores) in order of their rank (time) and city of residence (chapter). Testing was administered by local chapters of the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors.

1. Jonathan Angel (15:07) Flower Mound (Chapter 5)
2. Nicolas Feltman (18:30) Helotes (Chapter 11)
3. Susan Zhang (19:02) Helotes (Chapter 11)
4. Anthony Pabillano (21:31) Corpus Christi (Chapter 12)

Jonathan Angel and his teacher will receive a $1000 award and Nicolas Feltman and his teacher will receive a $500 reward.

Please participate next year to ensure a continued interest in trigonometry study and a possibility of winning a scholarship from your local and/or state surveying group.

I thought that too at first, lol.

I'm guessing it is some sort of regional number, since I know Nicholas is a senior...and I'm pretty sure Jonathan isn't a fifth grader. :P

One last note:
Jonathan, or if he is not able to then Nicolas, will compete at the national level of TRIG*STAR by June 2 for his chance at further awards of
1st - $2000
2nd - $1000
3rd - $500
One-half the value of the award will also be given to the teachers of the winning students' teachers.
