Also, I might add, some solutions can be done quite quickly with proper technique.
For division by 9, first subtract the units digit from 10, and type it.Make sure to move the little writey thingy (I don't know what it's called, but context clues should help) left after this step. Then, add the tens digit to the hundreds digit. If it is above 8, add one to the hundreds digit and type. If not, just type the hundreds digit.
Ex.1:For [unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula], first take [unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula], which is equal to 3.Type it and move the... thingy left. Then, add 8+3. Because 8+3>9, add one to the hundreds digit (8),and type it out.[unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula]
For 11's, if the outside digits add to the inside digit, the hundreds digit becomes the 10, and the units digit becomes the... units digit. If the outsides equal 11 more than the inside, subtract 1 from the hundreds place, and type it as the tens place, and keep the units place.
Note: treat 10 as one number when you have numbers greater than 1000
Ex.2: 264/11 :[unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula]
Ex.3: 1056/11 :[unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula]
In addition multiplication by 5,10,11 are all basic number sense tricks, so that must help alot.
