You need to differentiate APERT.
[unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula] where A is the amount of algae remaining after t minutes. r is the rate of growth. P is the initial amount, so
[unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula] You know that the population of algae doubles after 3 days or 4320 minutes:
[unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula]
[unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula]
[unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula]
SO, after simplifying APERT (which I can't seem to do because latex is being stupid again)
You get,
[unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula]
Now just differentiate this
[unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula]
Now evaluate dA/dt 6 weeks or 60480 minutes:
[unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula]
