Just a reminder/disclaimer:

NO TALKING ABOUT THE TEST MATERIAL!! Scores are OK (since they're on the UIL website anyway), but any discussion about topics covered on the test/specific questions should be avoided.

So with that, I scored:
NS - 187 (mistakes all over - meh)
Calc - 268 (yay)
Math - 338 (double yay. could've been a 354 but two silly mistakes...)
Sci - 184 (good enough)

The science contest, I feel, may have been too easy. I think that the students that know science better were not able to separate themselves from less skilled ones. The science scores were too high.

How many of you who took district 1 had question 60 omitted on the math?

Can't talk about it now due to the window, but apparently Bobby Shen got perfect at district if they did omit. Kudos!

I'll have a preliminary sevenllamas up later tonight or tomorrow for district 1 results.

NS:199 (lots of mistakes, 1st)
CA: 208 (haven't seen it yet 1st)
MA: 336 (Darn, lost to redhawk by 2, 1st)
SC: 144 (lol, 2nd overall, 1st physics)

We got first as team in NS, CA, and MA, so I'm happy.

Didn't have 60 omitted.

The funniest thing is that I made Region in CS. That was the LAST thing I expected to happen, and that was my best test ever. I guess everyone gets lucky every once in a while.

Our math proctor wrote on the board "-2 points for missed and skipped problems", causing a general outburst from the students and the other two proctors.

So have you all seen Dulles/Clements scores (23-5A)? The math and NS are shockingly high as usual, but the Calc scores seem to have taken a pretty big hit.

I would mark it down as a bad day for them. I am sure they'll bring higher scores at Region. I'd expect North Shore-range scores from Bobby Shen in the coming competitions, and the rest of the team to bring it up as well. Given the low difficulty of the Math test, I'd say even their math scores were a bit lower than I expected. Number Sense was pretty impressive, although I didn't think this test was that difficult (well, part was challenging, part wasn't.)

Also, NS is making me worried. I hope I can pull something off In the coming competitions. Only time will tell.

I did awful... but then again, I never do as well as I want. lol :D

NS: 268 (77,-13) I cant seem to miss less than 10. It's kind of sad, really. Adding to that, none of my team broke a 200. I'm getting kind of scared for Regionals, now.

Math: 254 (53,-8) Same thing.

I am getting upset by my awful accuracy. I really want to fix this by Regionals.

Bobby Shen got 6th in science?!? :O I guess the weird science test caused it...
And apparently Clements is on the lead for District Champions, I guess we'll wait till they host one-act.
And Ross got a 319 in CA, and second in math! :O

Hey guys.
Just had a quick question.
I know from experience that the max u can get in math is a 360
Look at Disrtict 16 Results for math. First place is a 388. How do you report this error?

Yeah, Allen did decent. Districts was made easier for us this year, but now Regionals is gonna be like a slap across the face, cause now we gotta compete against Kleins and the Sci and Engineering Magnet. I don't think we're competing against Flowermound, though...

Overall, pretty disappointing scores for me. I guess practice doesn't exactly make perfect, cause I practiced really hard for number sense, and I didn't see much of an improvement at all. I barely practiced for calculator, and somehow I've done my best all year. Wut.

I guess the tests were easier. Somehow I pulled it through for math.

Got a lot of catching up to do. DX

Haha yes, I just saw that 388 as well and was just about to post about it. It's not as bad as my science answer sheet though (104-240-240 giving a 584, which was put in as my final score and then VERIFIED and passed as correct through the district officials.) Somehow it did not end up on the UIL website though.

I didn't know that it was already updated. I assumed there would be a longer waiting period. Why are some schools (like mine) not on here though? That is very strange. I think it happened last year too.

Edit: It has to be because not all results are up yet. Duh. I think my District's results were up a bit late and that would explain it, if sevenllamas ranked before most Districts were up. Hopefully it gets fixed after all results for District 1 are up.
