Also if anyone's wondering, Paschal won District 3 Science and Martin got 2nd. Again, I'm terrible at remembering exact scores, but my coach said a kid from Paschal got 120 on Bio and Chem, and they had 2 other perfect sections on the team. I missed the number sense scores, didn't stick around for the entire math scores, but I believe Sam Houston HS won calculator. I looked around the host school and couldn't find any scores posted on the walls or anything, it was all done on a projector screen. i wish they'd hurry up on posting the scores #, though.

Here are my scores:

NS: 250 (for no practice, pleased with that score)
CA: 273 (for no practice once again, decently pleased)
MA: 332 (for no practice, not really pleased, but let's face it...didn't practice so I couldn't really expect higher)
SC: 258 (actually practiced by reading that physics book and decently pleased)

Last year, my region was one of the weakest in terms of competition (no offense to anyone, but we did pull off the lowest scores compared to the other 3 regions). This year; however, I see a lot more competition and cannot wait for mid-April to come around.

From looking at scores around the state, this looks like it is going to be the most competitive year out of the years I have done UIL. Congrats to everyone who is advancing to Region!

Wow it's been a while since I've logged in here. Well, to clear the 388 problem, I'm pretty sure he got a 338 (he's in my district). It was hard to tell what scores were since the host school ended up handing each school their awards individually near the end...
The top NS scorer for Westwood ended up arriving late so it moved everyone up a spot.
Westwood pretty much dominated everything (math/science wise) except for CA team score.

I was happy with my score in math, at least for 4a, till I saw Dante Vela drop a 352.

I should have spent the last 10 minutes of the test checking my answers instead of doodling.

Unfortunately my district didn't omit 60 either. I saw the mistake during the test but forgot to report it, honest. So with the adjusted scores I still trail Vikrant by 1 question and Dante by 2.

I finished with atually more like 8 min. I mean, on one hand I could have checked my stuff, which sounded really boring, or I could make a picasso like drawing on the empty space at the end, which at the moment seemed hilarious. As far as I'm concerned I made the rational choice there. I guess I just have to be irrational from now on.

Now if I can only get that math speed on the calculator and number sense test.

It has been a long time since I have logged onto the forum. District 1 was terribly hard. I had a pretty bad day on Calculator and Science. But I will try to redeem myself by region (hopefully).
