Yes! That would excellent! It is really disappointing to see the forum have to go, but what must be done must be done. It's been really great meeting you guys through here and I've learned so much from the people on here, and I wouldn't be anywhere near I am today without the help on Texasmath and the wonderful people on here. I don't know where I'd be without the forum and the tests on here.
I think we should give Mr.Potter a huge thanks for the support he's given us over the years. Thank you Mr.Potter, and I wish you well with whatever issues you may be facing. I am forever grateful to you for not only this forum, but the things I've been introduced to and the person I've become through the people on here and the resources you have provided. I am sure others can say the same.
I also thought about making a subforum on AoPS. However, I did not know it was possible to make one for a replacement for TCM, and I'm glad we have that option. Could it compare to the original TCM? No, but it would at least be something. I would like to be able to keep in contact with people through a forum-type environment somehow, and AoPS's use of LaTex would be great.
As for tests, I'm sure that can be figured out, and just to be safe, I will download them to my computer. Also, we need to compile the results from the Resulter and save them. Whatever we can salvage from the forum, results, downloads, etc. would be great to have. I know I learned a lot from reading previous posts, and although I doubt we could save them, there are still many things we could save. I would like to give some sort of resource for future classes at my school.
Also, I am worried about finding new members. How would new people discover that subforum? Is there some way we could provide a new link or something to it? It would be great if people of future classes could have access to a resource something like TCM was for me.
Hopefully we can figure all of this out and save as much as we can from the forum. Once again, thank you Mr. Potter, for all you've done. You've made a great impact on my life and many others.
