2013 Region Predictions/Goals

My goal is to make state in NS, CA, and MA; even with my numbers it's very possible because of the lack of strength in my region. Also, in my dreams, I want to get a 340+, but that might be reaching a little too far, especially with a region test.

I wouldnt be too sure abt me getting 3rd at regions. There are many other people who can potentially beat me.

This will be my first time at Region.

I don't really expect to win anything, but I'll try to enjoy the experience and time over there.

But next year it will be different... :)

Also nsguy, I was 100% sure on some of my predictions - not for myself but for like others...
So, I would not be intimidated if someone else loses... It would rather just be surprising...

What would you call games like Brawl or Mario Party/Kart? Maybe the Aracde style fighing games? Or how about shooter or other racing games.

I know they bring out the compeitive side, but do they add pressure?

OMG!!! I LOVE MARIO CART. Back when I had a gamecube, mario kart double dash was all I played. Sadly I lost the game(Im still crying with memories). The DS version does not compare and for some reason I still think the gamecube version was better than the Wii version. I had to move on to Mario Sunshine which was good but not as good. Those don't add pressure. In zetamac, you look at 10 seconds, 45(for me) and you feel pressured. In tetris(battle mode), if you are tied with your opponent in KOs and you are neck to neck with him, you HAVE TO BE CLUTCH(unlike Romo). I guess all this pressure is prepping you up for NS and CA NCS(which I consider a video game).

Anyways, How would you guys rate a 242 on last year's regional math test(Hey I know this score is low compared you guys' 360s, but Im only a sophomore). I heard this was a hard test and someone from SEM's math team last year got a 92 :( ... I know it will not place or anything, but what did you guys get.

LoL is pretty fun. My friends and I have our late night LoL nights all the time. We were up till 2AM playing LoL day before TMSCA State.

As for other video games, Mario Kart and Brawl!! For our 6 hour bus ride, I have installed a Wii emulator on my laptop and we are bringing wii remotes to connect via bluetooth to my laptop so we can play Mario Kart/Brawl on my laptop.
