SO guys, i thought i did pretty good at Number Sense.
Our team did good and beat SEM which was pretty amazing, although my respect goes out to them.
still feel like an idiot after seeing Bobby Shens 391.
Oh well! good luck to all going to state

1st to say: nsguy pwned our region like CRAZY... 1st on NS, MA, CA, SC

2nd to say: My predictions were near perfect... only mistakes were science 2nd, NS team (grr...), and - idk but not that many
So Im happy to say that I can actually predict pretty well. I hope this gives me good insight into how people do at State

I was EXTREMELY SAD to see NS...
I got the exact same silver last yr with a 141 and now with a 231...
Better skill level but same medal... IRONIC!!!!!! :'(
But Congrats Allen! You guys pwned me like crazy on NS! All >255...

CA went EXTREME for me... I was sooo happy to beat Bobby (although Im not still like so happy cuz I know how good he is)
Looking at results from all regions, SEM came 1st in the whole state (but Im sooo scared cuz we beat two legends... I should say the third one (PSJA) had a bad day)

MA WAS HORRIBLE!!!! I WOULDA GOTTEN A MEDAL!!!! We were off Klein by 2 pts!!!! THIS IS WHY YOU DONT GUESS THE MATHEMATICIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyways... as expected... coulda overturned my prediction... but oh well

MA: 218 - really dont care so... -_-

Well, scores were kinda disappointing for me. I was hoping to get to state through calculator, but I guess not... At least I get to go, though. That's all I ever wanted.

Just wondering, did you guys had number 66 corrected on the calculator test? Corrected as in the answer key was fixed? I had calculator on Friday and actually had to call Dr. Burell to get that answer corrected. My region didn't change our scores # (i really had 289) so I'm just wondering.

How about that question near the end of the math test(implicit differentiation). Stupid answer choice wasnt even there. Made me waste 5 hours. CA Test was fine except TOILET ROLL PROBLEM WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN AN 8th PAGE PROBLEM NOT A 2ND!!! I missed 2 NCs and SOLVER(for the 2nd test in a row). That would have tied me for 2nd in the region. SOLVER!!!!!!!!! Anyways, I put the life expectancy of a human to be: [unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula] like a boss(Hey that is what my stupid HP gave me). NS is failure. Math...couldve got a stupid medal :( I got the polar question RIGHT by MISCOUNTING the number of intersections!!!!

I'm pretty sure the toilet paper problem has an easy solution (even though I missed it.) I was off by a slight amount, meaning I had the right idea but implemented something wrongly. Region 3 had a bad day, but I expect a huge rebound at State. State will be very interesting to see.

Yeah, I qualified for Calculator, and I was so close for Math but I didn't make it. But oh well, at least I made it.

Oh yeah, can anyone get a copy of the key for the calculator test? My coach apparently didn't get one for me to look at.

Did anyone think #31 was "D" 3 points of intersection and not "C" 2 points of intersections on the math test?

So... I got to meet Gandhiswagg, BlasianAsian, and other people... UGH! I got so dejected on the NS test cuzthere were like a million people who flipped before me!!!!!

But one advantage of advancing in one event is that you ccan focus more on that and like do better rather than having to put twice the efforts for UIL...
Also, AP exams are comin up and I need to start studying... So, UIL should probably become secondary...
